Ray Lamb
William (Ray) Lamb is a PGA golf and teaching professional, Lifetime Member of the PGA, member of Callaway’s Nation Fitters Board, and author of 11 books. He has competed in 8 Texas state opens as well as the 2012 National PGA Championship. Lamb founded the Heart of Texas Junior Golf Academy, one of the top junior programs in the nation.
Lambs’ students have won over 32 individual state championships and 33 team championships. More than 600 of Lambs’ students have played for over 85 colleges and universities across the nation and at last count more than 12 have become PGA professionals. Lamb received his master’s degree from Baylor University and still serves as an instructor for Baylor. His students range from beginner to top collegiate players and professionals. Lamb also is an endurance Mountain bike racer with his longest race to date being from Banff Canada to Mexico, 3,000 miles and 200,000 feet of climbing and currently holds the record across Texas with 1,029 miles on a single speed.
Jon Antunes
Jon Antunes is a PGA Golf Professional and the Owner/Director of Instruction at the Heart of Texas Golf Academy.
Jon is a certified, TPI, U.S. Kid’s Golf, and K-Motion instructor. He is also a member of the TaylorMade National Fitter’s Council.
Jon works with students of all levels including young junior golfers, aspiring professionals, and anyone with a passion to improve.
Jon was an All-American playing member of the Baylor University golf team and a playing member of the 2001 Big 12 Conference championship team. Jon earned a degree in business management from Baylor and has served as a golf instructor at the university for 17 years.
Jon is a two-time major champion in the prestigious Northern Texas PGA section. He is also a two-time runner up finisher in their player of the year award.
As an avid learner in all areas of athletics, Jon has obtained three second degree black belts in three different martial arts.
Jon has coached 12 state championship teams and has taught dozens of state champions and finalists at the junior golf level. His students have gone on to compete as elite junior golfers, collegiate players, PGA professionals, and touring professionals.
